This post of my bus exposes views of my left drive wheel well area and framing and storage utilities area for the air lines and air valves needed for the air system on the bus. This area is so full of filth it was not funny, it took days to clean up and then I decided to remove all the air lines and air valves for complete upgrading replacement. You can see the original air tanks for the brakes, (which leaked like a sieve) with holes in the tank you can see.
The actual original framing on this side of the bus did not incur as much rust damage as on the right side of the bus but I had every intention to double frame it anyhow as you can see in several photos after. You can see how I modified the inside of the bay for all the utilities needed and imagine the difficulty I had installing all of that piping etc. Then you finally see the finished product of the left drive wheel well with all the framing enclosed and painted and the aluminum diamond access door to the air utilities.
One photo of a broken wheel stud that was in actual use like this!! Enjoy
